Every great photograph is built on a composition a teacher could draw. reCompose draws it on your viewfinder — so instead of reading about the rule of thirds, you line your actual scene up with it and take the shot.
Tap the Grids button next to the shutter. Travel, Street, Food, Portrait, Selfie, Pets, Family, Landscape, Buildings — each carries guides drawn for the shots you actually take.
The guide overlays your live camera with a one-line hint in plain English — where to stand, where the subject goes. Asymmetric guides flip left↔right; multi-object guides label each zone: plate here, glass there.
The shutter is silent and instant — no popups, no scores, no interruptions. A real camera underneath: optical lenses plus 1.5× and 2× stops, tap-to-focus, exposure control, HEIC, JPG, and ProRAW.
Shots land in the Sandbox — a private roll inside the app. Crop and straighten non-destructively, add notes, then send only the best to your Photos library. Your camera roll stays clean.
Guides aren't generic grids — each one is drawn for a kind of photograph, with a plain-language hint about where to stand and where the subject goes. Flip the asymmetric ones to match your scene.
Everything — all ten styles, every guide, RAW capture, the Sandbox — is free during the beta. If paid tiers come later, the camera and the guides you learn with stay usable.
